In the year 1965 a Partnership firm in the name of 'Miniature Electricals' was established at Jaysinghpur, Sangle District, Maharashtra-India.
In 1966 we shifted our factory to Pune - Cultural & Industrial city.
In 1968 for more effective protection current sensing relays were developed.
In 1970 All India Dealers Network was established.
In 1975 saw major diversification under the new company - Statfield in Industrial Electrostatic Painting Line.
In 1980 an innovative first ever concept of 'Single Phasing Preventor' was introduced in India for avoiding motor burnouts.
In 1981 the factory premises was shifted to Pimpri and the status changed from Partnership firm to Pvt. Ltd. and the name changed to 'Minilec Controls Pvt. Ltd.'
In 1982 the company introduced India's first Microprocessor based Alarm Annunciator - Microwarn 8200.
In 1984 a solid state series of products called Gaurdian was introduced for the first time in the country.
In 1985 a new company, Minilec Protective Relays Pvt. Ltd. was established by acquiring land at Pirangoot.
In 1986 a new version of Alarm Annunciator with 8 points, 12 points and 16 points models was developed and introduced in the market.
In 1988 the company introduced India's most compact Single Phasing Preventor - Mini VSP & VSP2. Also the star product - Pumpguard was introduced for the first time in the
country.
In 1990 Microwarn was presented in a new shape with plastic moulded enclosure for 12 points - Microwarn 9000.
In 1992 with its wide range of products, Minilec enters the export market with the D-91 series of Din Rail Mounting Protective Relays. The office was shifted to Pune.
In 1992 two separate marketing organisations were established. One for domestic market - M/s. Minilec Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. & the other for export market - M/s, Shalaka Electronics Pvt. Ltd.
In 1993 the company received export orders for Indonesia Electricity Board (Pln) for Microprocessor based Alarm Annunciator.
In 1994 Minilec was accredited as an ISO-9001 company. Export orders for Malaysia Electricity Board (TNB) for Microprocessor based Alarm Annunciator was received.
In 1995 with a constant rise in export orders, Minilec established its overseas base with its HQ at Singapore - Minilec Singapore Pvt. Ltd.
In 1996 the company shifted its operations to a new and bigger factory at Pirangoot.
In 1997 India's first Alarm Annunciator with Serial Communication facility for Computer Interfacing was introduced - MBAS 9700.
In 1999 Minilec Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. changed its name to Minilec (India) Pvt. Ltd. The company also acquired quality certification - CE, CSA.
In 2002 Mrs. S. Y. Ghaisas was conferred by the "Institute of Engineers India" with the Best Women Entrepreneurs' Award. |
